Can Hair Transplant Give Me Back My Hair?
A lot of people may be so eager to undergo a hair transplant procedure, but are discouraged by hair transplant price.
For example, envision a person that has hair that tends to naturally curve from the left to the right and that person combs their hair to the side (left to right). Now imagine that a hair transplant surgeon doesn’t pay attention to the natural hair angling of that patient and they just transplant the hair randomly.
Although the patient may still be able to style their hair from the left to the right, there would definitely be hairs that either stuck straight up or perhaps in the complete opposite direction assuming the there were hairs planted randomly. These unconsciously transplanted hairs would always stick out and look like they are fighting the natural hair flow.
Following surgery, patients are advised to carry out their usual daily activities, although on a smaller scale. Any activities that are likely to put pressure on, or stretch the wounds of, the donor area should be steered clear from for up to 4 weeks. Such actions include the lifting of heavy loads and extensive bending of the neck.
Follicular Unit Strip Surgery (FUSS). In this procedure, a strip of hair from the donor region is taken and implanted on the thinning or balding area. Sutures are then used to close the donor area. The area would take several days to heal. This procedure is best for average to extreme balding cases since it allows several grafts to be transplanted in a single session.
